New bilingual school to open in Berlin in August 2007
We're happy to publish the following message we've received from "Berlin Kids International School"
"Dear Sir or Madam,
We are currently in the process of setting up a new English-German bilingual
school in Berlin. The school will be run by Pfefferwerk Stadtkultur gGmbH
and is being set up by the Association of Berlin Kids International, who set
up the Kita of the same name in Prenzlauer Berg. It will be situated in
Friedrichshain, at the border with Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte. We are
planning to open the primary school in August 2007 with three mixed-age
groups covering the traditional grades one-three. Eventually, the school
will expand all the way up to grade twelve. At the moment, we are busy
finalizing staff recruitment and student intake. While many places have been
taken, we still have a number of spaces available, and this is where I would
like to ask your help. I would be very grateful if you could forward details
about our school to parents in your email address book (information
including website address can be sent to you as an attachment). I am
convinced that it is in all our interests that as many English-German
bilingual students as possible receive the bilingual education that they
deserve. I would be extremely grateful for your cooperation, and of course
am happy to answer any enquiries that you may have.
With best wishes,
Ruth Wishart Coordinator, Student registration, Berlin Kids International
School"
